Efficient organization of time-consuming onboarding process

Allianz Nederland partners with more than 4,000 insurance and financial advisers (intermediaries) who offer insurance on their behalf. Every year, hundreds of new intermediaries register who want to offer Allianz products to their customers.

When a new intermediary registered with Allianz, a PDF document was previously completed. This document was then manually validated at Allianz by various employees and departments at dozens of external organizations. A very time-consuming and expensive process that Allianz wanted to set up more efficiently.


Time gain with a smart form

The processing of new intermediaries is now largely done digitally. The PDF form has been replaced by an online Diamond form. During the completion of the application, a large number of checks automatically take place via external systems. The details of the intermediary are validated by, among others, the Chamber of Commerce, the AFM and the Sanctions Platform. A credit check and a CBV test are also performed immediately. The data will then be forwarded to Allianz.

There is now significantly less pressure on the back office employees. While the checks initially took a few days, many checks now take place immediately when the form is filled in. This certainly yields a saving of 50%. In addition to faster answering of the request, there is now also time to optimize the service towards the intermediaries.

The possibilities to connect to external sources to retrieve or write data are very extensive. Immediately store data in your own systems once the form has been submitted. You set yourself when data actions should be performed. Retrieved data can be used to fill in fields and can be placed in different text fields via merge fields.
You can easily drag questions onto your form using the intuitive form editor. By switching to the explorer, a structured overview of your form is immediately displayed. Questions, question sets, sections or entire pages are simply dragged and dropped within the form, copied with one mouse click, or saved as a set for other forms. You have direct access to all relevant form settings such as design, submission actions and sharing options.
All Diamond forms and responses are encrypted and unreadable by default. Encryption takes place automatically in the background.

Professional support

For the one time set up of the checks with external systems, Allianz called in the help of an experienced Diamond consultant. All connections have been set up and tested together on location at Allianz. By carrying out this step together, Allianz now has sufficient in-house knowledge to add new links itself.


The Diamond team really listen to wishes

During onboarding, Allianz asks the intermediary to send privacy-sensitive information, such as proof of identity. This type of data is already encrypted and stored illegally by Diamond. Allianz would like to go a step further and has expressed the wish to be able to remove the attached attachments separately from the response when they are no longer needed. A nice functionality that has been added directly to the roadmap.
